OTIE- ICIT 10th International Conference on Island Tourism 2018

The 10th OTIE International Conference on Islands Tourism 2018 promoted the scientific and technical exchange between international academics and experts on insular contexts in order to address efficient strategies for insular development by promoting a wide cooperation. This conference is one of the working steps of the Island Economy Working Group – IEWG, launched in Brussels in November 2017, which aims to encourage the institution of an International Network of Island Contexts, especially for those islands included in soclimpact project (Cyprus, Malta, Baltic Islands, (Übersetzun, Fehmarn, Rügen, Usedom), Balearic, Sicily, Sardinia, Corsica, Crete, Azores, Madeira, Canary, Martinique, Guadalupe)

Dr. Hugo Costa (FC.ID) and Sousa, A., Capela Lourenço, T., Swart, R., partners from SOCLIMPACT project, presented the article: “A conceptual framework for climate change adaptation and decarbonization pathways for the EU blue economy sectors in European islands”.
