Info session on the first results of the H2020 SOCLIMPACT project, Brussels (Belgium).

The lunch information session was organised by the Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (RTD) and the Executive Agency for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (EASME). This event took place in Brussels when the project had come 18 months. The board of directors, Carmelo León (ULPGC), Ghislain Dubois (Ramboll) and Ulrike Lehr (GWS) took the chance to present some preliminary results so that they gained insight into the relevance of the obtained research output for policy.

During the presentation, SOCLIMPACT felt honoured that Ms Sigi Gruber, Head of Unit Marine Resource in the European Commission, outlined an introduction, explained that “Europe is a great island in the Ocean…” and, thus, gave credit to the research works that we do for Europe and the great archipelago that represents.
